Ken Mayemura, O.D.
Originally from Southern California. Graduate of the California State University, Fullerton where he received the Miles McCarthy Award for "outstanding health professions student who demonstrates high academic achievement and integrity, as well as a commitment to serve humanity". Graduate from the Southern California School of Optometry in 1992. In addition to his current position Dr. Mayemura also has clinical experience in the following settings: Veterans Administration hospital (Brentwood VA in Brentwood, CA & Madigan in Tacoma, WA) HMO (Kaiser Permanente in Southern California and Group Health Cooperative), specialty vision therapy practice, commercial and private optometry practices and private ophthalmology practice.

Brenda Burden, O.D.
Originally from Southwestern Kentucky. Undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University. BS Degree Physiological Optics, University of Alabama at Birmingham. Graduate from University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 1990. Externship in Ocular Disease at Omega Eye Care Center, Atlanta, GA. Post-Graduate Residency in Low Vision & Geriatrics in 1991 from University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and Tuscaloosa /Birmingham, AL VA Hospitals. In addition to her current position, Dr. Burden also has clinical experience in the following settings: Tertiary care surgical co-management center (Omni Eye Services Birmingham, AL), Eye Foundation Hospital (Birmingham, AL), commercial optometry practice, and private optometry / ophthalmology practices. Dr. Burden has been published in the Southern Journal of Optometry.

Amalia Poquiz, O.D.
Originally from Northern California. Graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles. Graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry in 2008. In addition to her current position Dr. Poquiz also has clinical experience in the following settings: Veteran’s Affairs Clinic (San Francisco Medical Center & Northern California Health Care System: Sacramento), community vision clinic (Alameda County Medical Center, Optometry Clinic), specialty low vision clinic, commercial optometry and an HMO practice (Kaiser Permanente in Roseville, CA).

Gary Archer, O.D.
Dr. Gary P. Archer OD is a graduate UC Berkeley School of Optometry. He joined the practice, after over twenty years in private solo practice. Dr. Archer finished his undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara in Health Studies/Biology after his experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Hospital in Seattle. His experiences at UC Berkeley included a medical mission to the Dominican Republic and externships to Travis Air Force base. Dr. Archer is a Vietnam era veteran and enjoys bicycling, singing in his church choir and restoring vintage motorcycles. His clinical interests include specialty contact lenses and ocular disease management.

Megan Stanley, O.D.
Dr. Megan Stanley is a graduate of Southern California College of Optometry. She finished her undergraduate studies at Colorado State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. Dr. Stanley completed her residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at Harbor Veterans Administration Hospital in New York. She joined our practice after 4 years of community healthcare in New York City and then private practice in Colorado. Dr. Stanley moved to Seattle in the footsteps of her tech savvy husband. They spend their free time enjoying life and nature through outdoor activities. She is very excited to get involved with the water sport options this area has to offer.
